The spacious open-plan living area is comfortable, and the double bed and modern bathroom with a storm shower provide a relaxing stay. the host goes above and beyond with personalized touches and thoughtful amenities.

Some minor improvements could be made, such as adding curtains or blackout blinds for better light control and addressing the worn-out sofas.

Lovely location. Spacious accommodation with a large living area and comfortable bed. The shower was nice and the hosts at the farmhouse were friendly. We appreciated the effort put into making the cottage wheelchair accessible for my disabled mother. The cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen and we were welcomed with flowers, sweets, and a bottle of Prosecco. The surrounding area had great walks and hikes.

The beds in the twin room were not very robust and the slats collapsed during the night. The TV reception and wifi were poor, but it wasn't a big deal for us.

We had a great time visiting the nearby town of Leek and Buxton. the area was also very dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. the owner, Jane, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the local area. The location of the cottage was perfect for our Christmas getaway. We were surrounded by stunning countryside and had plenty of opportunity for peaceful walks. The cottage itself was cozy and had all the basic amenities we needed for our stay. The WiFi worked well, allowing us to stay connected when we wanted to. The nearby pub was also a great bonus, providing us with delicious meals and a friendly atmosphere.

One major downside was the lack of a secure garden or outdoor seating area. We would have loved to have a space to enjoy the fresh air and relax outside.
